The BIG 2-5

HEY HEY HEY!! It was THIS guy's BIRTHDAY!!!

Austin with his Birthday "loot"...the home-made cake being the #1 thing on his list.  He LOVES German-Chocolate cake with coconut frosting.  The hat on his head and the hat "Cage" were his other gifts.

Austin turned 25 yesterday.  I feel so blessed to have had the last 3 years with him.  Austin is such an amazing man and I love him so much.  He works so hard to take care of our family and make sure we have the things we need.  In a world that would call us crazy for being married at our age AND having a baby (before we are 40), living on ONE income, taking "risks" by going to a new place every summer (we don't think it's a risk...we think it's necessary), and so on and so forth...he is confident and optimistic! I love that about him.  Nothing really ruffles his feathers.  He doesn't make any major choices without the usual pondering and prayer and discussing it with me of course, but even those major decisions we make don't seem to phase him.  While I get all stressed out and feel like the world is caving in on me, he just remains steady and strong.  I guess that's one of the reasons we are good for each other, right?

Austin is funny.  He makes me laugh every day.  He makes even life's stressful moments kinda funny.  I love his "young at heart" attitude and sometimes I wonder if he'll ever ACT his age!  haha
He is an amazing father.  Sedona adores him and he is so patient and kind and gentle.  Someone once told me that they loved watching him with her because they got to see him morph from this rough-tough guy into a gentle teddy bear that was like putty in Sedona's hands. It's true.  He melts around her.  It's absolutely adorable.

I love him! I am so thankful that we made the choice to spend the rest of our lives together! I hope you had a Happy Birthday, Hon!
