Uncle Tyson Came to Visit!!!

Okay, so this post has 31 pictures...WAAAAYYYY too many. But, Tyson was here for a week, and it was also July 4th. Give me a break. So, here it is!

Uncle Tyson and Sedona at Big Daddy's BBQ

"high 5!"

Happy 4th of July!!!

4th of July BBQ with some friends. Uncle Tyson found this ugly sweet shirt and thought it was perfect for a 4th of July party.  Notice Sedona's super cute outfit.  Seriously the cutest rhomper I have ever seen. I wish I had a better picture of it. We bought it big enough for next summer and the shoulder straps are adjustable in length so she'll get tons of wear out of it!

Mustard on the front....

 ...ketchup on the back.

Zoo day!!!

Another sweet shirt for Tyson...the back of the shirt is the tiger with its mouth open.  It really is amazing. Who comes up with this stuff?!

This kid is the craziest sleeper! She's got her face burried in my pillow and she's got my arm trapped...

We went to the Cowboy Museum and Tyson ended up in Jail...I swear, you can't keep this kid under control no matter how hard you try.

When we finally got him out of the slammer, we went to the kiddie corral and tried out some saddles...

 ...pet a Texas Long-horn...

...ate some hot chocolate by a campfire...

... and wore some sweet cowgirl boots!!

We had to get a picture of this awesome statue...but the Indian's torso and head got cut out of this one :-(

Uncle Tyson had to leave on Saturday morning with Austin. They were headed out the door to do some paint-balling with Austin's sales team.  Sedona wasn't too happy about this...as you can tell.  I had just returned from the gym and look incredible!

Tyson's paint-balling outfit.  Thank you, Goodwill!

I am so thankful that Tyson came to visit! We have always had a special relationship as brother and sister and I'm so glad that the years living away from each other have not completely changed it.  Sure, it's different.  I wish it wasn't.  But life happens, and we are "adapting."  Right, Ty?!  I'm so glad he feels comfortable enough that he would still want to come and visit. I'm grateful he and Austin get along so well and have so much in common that they can go have a fun time paint-balling together and it not be awkward.  I feel really blessed to have such an amazing family! Thanks for coming to visit, Ty! We had a great time and hope you did, too.  Love you!

A Day in The Life of a Busy Diva...

I start the day by making messes...

...and making sure they are really solid messes before Mom takes me away from them!

Then we go on a walk to get out of the house...

...I hate the grass on my hands and legs.  I hate it so much that I refuse to stand up on my own, because that would mean my knees AND my hands would have to touch the grass...(que Stephanie whine) ewwww!!!
So I wiggle my wrists and whine just a little and Mom picks me up and I'm on the move again!

We go over the mailboxes every day! I have so much fun banging and making noise.  I can even open the big parcel boxes because their keys have "danglies" on them!  I do the same routine every day: bang on mailboxes, open big mailbox, run to the steps and sit down, then climb back down and start all over again!

When Mom gets tired of chasing me and pulling me away from the flowers, (I really like to pull the pretty petals off the stems!) she brings me inside for a snack!  Veggie sticks with ketchup...or mostly just ketchup. I really like ketchup.

...this generally requires a bath and a wardrobe change. No big deal. I have lots of clothes.  Then when I'm all clean and I have had a good nap, I spend the rest of the day making MORE messes.  Phew! My life is tough!

But somebody's gotta do it! Might as well be me :-)
