CANCUN!!!!

Cancun was AMAZING!!! We were there from December 14th until December 20th.....lucky!!! We stayed in an all-inclusive resort Gran Caribe Real, on the strip. It included all the food, fun and drinks a person could possibly have in one week!! I became a succor for the virgin Pina Coladas.....mwaaaa!! The beaches were like the ones you see on TV...and the kind I believed didn't really exist. But guess what?! They do, and boy am I glad they do! It was gorgeous!!!

Our location was perfect. There was a bus stop right outside our hotel and once we figured that system out, we were unstoppable!! We had the ocean on one side and the lagoon on the other, so we were completely surrounded by water. So we decided to spend some time on the water, since there was SO MUCH OF IT. We booked a tour on a ferry to go from Las Tortugas to Isla Mujheres on Thursday afternoon.

On this trip, we boarded a ferry for 30 minutes and then went directly from the ferry to a smaller fishing-sized boat where we went another 20 minutes to a lagoon where we went snorkeling!! It was so much fun....minus the part where I got sick. I had only ever been on the ocean once when I was 6 and we took a ferry to Kodiak Island, Alaska. SO it hardly even counts... Well, I was so sea-sick by the time we got into the water to snorkel that i was doing everything to keep my breakfast down. After about 30 minutes of snorkeling, I told Austin that unless he wanted to see me blow my breakfast out of that little tube, we better get back on the boat. We made our way back and I held it in until everyone got on the boat and when we were finally moving, I let it all go.... It was so gross, and I felt woosy on and off for the rest of our vacation.
But getting sick didn't stop us! It was great to spend the next couple hours on the island, playing volleyball, soccer, and relaxing in the hammocks. There was even a waterslide in the ocean and we had a great time on that, too. We then boarded the ferry again to go to the northern tip of the island and walk around the city. The markets were great there and we had fun eating a sweet treat from a road-side vendor. (Luckily we didn't get sick) We boarded the ferry again to head back to Cancun and arrived back there around 5 o'clock pm. It was a GREAT day!
Okay, so I'm going to post a few pictures from the trip and make you all a little jealous that you didn't get to go to Cancun, but don't worry....I'm paying for it now that I'm in the ICEBURG of REXBURG....

Coming Soon......

CANCUN!!!!!!

Wedding

Okay, I'm terrible. I've been married for nearly a month and I'm just now posting the details....I'm a total slacker.

Austin and I were married on December 13th, 2008 in the Boise, Idaho Temple. The weather had been agreeable all month long until.....it was time for people to drive to Boise. Uhggg. So, it was a little scary trying to get everyone there safely, but alas.....everyone made it!! My entire family were able to make it there safely. (Casey and Sullivan were detained for other reasons.) We had a full room at our sealing and it was so wonderful to be surrounded by so many family and friends.

Since I'm not the greatest writer in the world and I know most of you want to see pictures anyway, I'm just going to post some pictures and let them tell the events of the day.

Outside the Temple

Both families, friends, and extended families.

Me and the boys! Cale, Ryan, Austin, Jeff, Cody, Ethan, Stephen, and Marty.

Our "first dance" and Connor and Mylie dancing. So stinkin' adorable! They did this for about an hour before Connor decided to call it quits.
